Through the simple action of framing Or from Werner to Dan and Back follows the protagonist as he continuously falls between removing himself his environment and becoming hyper-present in his current yet seemingly fictitious surroundings.
Previously titled Performer/Audience/Mirror/Camera/Performer/Audience, this performance brings together a wide range of sources relating to Performing and Filming; from Fassbinders Beware of the Holy Whore, Dan Grahams performances to 1970s hit T.V. show Soul Train. In each performance a prologue is read describing the current performance space which then slowly morphs into the set of Soul Train, where the performer is set into motion re-enacting and expanding the sourced movements.
