I am a Scottish and Irish artist and choreographer based in Glasgow I present work in both dance and visual arts contexts. My practice is made up of a messy knot of practices and studies; formally trained in visual arts, the foundation of my dance practice is rooted in Hip Hop through Breakin’ and House dance, and has continued to expand my dance through a continued exploration in improvisation and somatic practices.

Like the Gemini I am, my practice follows desire and pleasure in many directions at the same time, this has produced a practice that is equally social as it is conceptual, rhythmic as it is sculptural.

My work explores how We handle things; people, objects and how objects handle Us through: environments, architecture, and social structures. Specifically I am very interested in the power of dance to change and create new spaces and places.

Working in various collaborative roles of performer, artist, dramaturg, writer,  I have worked with artists such as Jo Fong,  Florence Peake, Colette sadler and Farah Saleh.
